All of our mold tests are sent to an independent lab for examination, that way you can be sure your results are unbiased. After a few days the lab returns a mold test report and we review the results with you.

Our tests not only tell you what types of mold are present, but the quantity of each kind. Generally speaking, we usually advise treatment under two scenarios:

1) Total mold counts are higher than outdoor ambient levels, or

2) We discover presence of any black mold strains like stachybotrys or chaetomium.

While many types of mold exist in nature, black mold strains mainly only exist in dwellings and are the most dangerous to your health.
